How Live Work Works

Sign up once

Fill in your company details and upload your insurance document on the Live Work page. This only takes a couple of minutes.

We review every new sign-up manually — you'll get an email with your personal login code once you're approved. This isn't instant, so there may be a short wait.

Log in with your code

Once approved, use the login code from your email to get into the job board. No password to remember — just the one code.

Tip: tick "remember me" and your phone stays logged in — you won't need to enter the code again on that device.

Browse Live Jobs and place a bid

The Live Jobs tab shows every job currently open for bidding — collection and delivery postcodes, approximate mileage, vehicle type needed, and any notes. Full addresses and company names aren't shown yet at this stage — only the winning bid gets those.

Enter the price you'd do the job for and submit. Your bid shows right on the job card so you can see its status — pending, accepted, or rejected — without hunting through a separate list.

Winning moves it to Confirmed Jobs

If your bid's accepted, the job moves to your Confirmed Jobs tab. This is where you'll now see the full pickup and delivery details — company names, full addresses, a PO number for your invoice, and any notes just for you as the assigned driver.

Mark Collected, then Mark Delivered

On a confirmed job, tap Mark Collected once you've picked up the goods — this timestamps itself automatically, nothing to type in.

Once delivered, tap Mark Delivered, enter the name of whoever signed for it, and optionally snap a photo as proof of delivery straight from your camera. The job then shows a clear green "complete" status.

Raise your invoice at month end

The Confirmed Jobs tab totals up everything you've done, month by month, automatically. Tap any month to see just that month's jobs, or hit Raise Invoice to generate a proper invoice for the total — one PO number per job, all itemised.

The first time, you'll enter whether you're VAT registered and your bank details — these save automatically, so every invoice after that is one tap. You'll get a clean invoice you can print or save straight to PDF.

Turn on notifications and add the app to your home screen

Once logged in, tap Enable Notifications to get an alert the moment a new job goes live — even with the app closed. And from your browser's menu, look for "Add to Home Screen" (or "Install app") to get a proper icon on your phone, so it opens instantly like any other app.
